The present invention relates to a variable-frequency chip antenna employing a via hole. More specifically, it relates to a variable-frequency chip antenna employing a via hole, which comprises a main-lobe body, a dielectric substrate formed with a predetermined thickness on the lower part of the main lobe body, and a side-lobe body formed in a pattern of a predetermined shape on the lower part of the dielectric substrate. The said antenna is formed with one or more electrically conductive via holes, which pass through the dielectric substrate and link the main-lobe body and the side-lobe body, in a position or positions allowing the formation of diverse electrical-current pathways between the main-lobe body and the side-lobe body, and the main-lobe body and the side-lobe body are linked through the one or more electrically conductive via holes in such a way as to form diverse pathways for electrical current flowing to the main-lobe body and the side-lobe body. Hence the present invention is advantageous in that resonance frequency and bandwidth can be adjusted since electrical-current pathways are formed in a diverse fashion through the via hole(s) linking the main-lobe body and the side-lobe body, and the electrical-current pathways are formed to a long length.
|
