<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of improving operability of an operation lever of a latch mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment has a latch mechanism including claw portions 51 and 51b fixed to front end 33 of a cover 30, engagement portions 53a and 53b which are disposed in a body housing 10 and are engaged with the claw portions when the cover is at a closure position, and an operation lever 55 disposed on the body housing to be interlocked with the engagement portions and slide between an engagement position where the claw portions and engagement portions are engaged with each other in a state that the cover is at the closure position and a disengagement position where the engagement of both is released, wherein a notch 40 is formed in a meeting portion 38 between the surface 36 of the front end of the cover which faces the upper surface of the body housing and the front wall surface 37 of the cover in a manner such that a portion of the upper surface 11a of the body housing covered with the front end 33 of the cover in a state that the cover is at the closure position, is exposed, and the operation lever is disposed at the front end 15 of the body housing to be disposed in a region where at least a portion of the operation lever is exposed in the notch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
