PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blocking bar suppressing an increase in the inertia force due to an increase in the weight by reducing the stress at the root of a blocking bar and increased in fatigue durability. SOLUTION: In this blocking bar 10D of a crossing gate which has a core 11 stored in an elastic material 13 in the state of projecting the holding part side, second reinforcement members 21B-1, 21B-2 for reinforcing the core 11 installed on the outer wall 11a of the core 11 in the predetermined range A ranging at the holding part to the end part 14. The second reinforcement members 21B-1, 21B-2 are installed oppositely to both left and right surfaces of the outer wall 11a of the core 11. By the second reinforcement members 21B-1, 21B-2 installed oppositely to both left and right surfaces of the outer wall 11a of the core 11, the rigidity of the core 11 is increased, the stress at the root of the core 11 is reduced, and the rise of the inertia force due to an increase in the weight of the core 11 is suppressed.
