A steel pole equipped is provided to improve the efficiency of the connector supporting the arm and remove the need of rib by using an H beam of high rigidity, thereby reducing the manufacturing process of the connector. A steel pole(1) equipped with a traffic information providing apparatus comprises a main post(10) whose bottom end is laid under a target location and in which a coupling hole is formed on one side, a connector(20) whose one end is combined through the main post and the other is combined to the flange of an arm and in which a monitoring camera(F) is installed on the other end, the arm(30) which is formed in a hollow circular bar shape whose one end is coupled with the flange of one end of the connector, and in which a traffic information providing apparatus(G) is installed on one side of the perimeter, and a retainer(40) which is formed in a metal wire shape with high tensile force with one end fixed to the upper part of the main post and the other fixed to one side of the arm so as to support the other end of the arm not connected to the connector.
