PURPOSE:To readily and rapidly produce the seamless printing plate by feeding liquid-form photosensitive resin between a transparent rigid plate and an engraving cylinder and exposing the photosensitive layer while corresponding the revolutions of the cylinder and the moving speeds of the foregoing rigid plate. CONSTITUTION:A negative film 15 is closely contacted to a transparent rigid plate (glass, methacrylate plate or the like) 1 and a sheet 16 thinner than the spacing t is horizontally affixed at the portion lower than the lower part of the image of the film 15 to prevent the flowing-down of photosensitive resin 18. Next, an engraving cylinder 14 is so provided that the spacing between its center 17 and film 18 becomes the radius r and the thickness t of the resin 18 and that the straight line passing the slit 4 of an active light source 3 and the center 17 becomes perpendicular to the plate 1. While the resin 18 is being supplied between the cylinder 14 and film 15, the plate 1 and cylinder are moved in the arrow direction correspondingly and at the same time the photosensitive layer 18 is exposed by the light source 3. Where the resin layer 18 makes one turn, the cylinder 14 is stopped to complete the seamless printing plate. The cylinder 14 is removed and the plate is post-treated and is set in a printing machine. |
