PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic optical fiber ribbon which is robust against repetitive bending and has light shield effect. SOLUTION: The plastic optical fiber ribbon is formed by arranging a plurality of single-core plastic optical fibers in parallel and joining them in a ribbon shape, and the single-core plastic optical fibers each comprise a core of 40 to 120μm in diameter made of a polymethylmethacrylate-based resin, one or more sheath layers enclosing the core and made of a transparent resin having a lower refractive index than the polymethylmethacrylate-based resin constituting the core, and a light shield resin layer of 30 to 130μm in thickness enclosing the sheath layer and made of a vinylidene fluoride-based resin composition containing coloring matter by 100 to 50,000 ppm, the single-unit plastic optical fibers having a rate of 2 to 25% of the sectional area of the core to the sectional area of the single-core plastic optical fiber and being coupled together through light shield resin layers.
