PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a malfunction of a scan control part which generates artifacts occurring in a reconstruction image without performing magnetic resonance imaging actually. SOLUTION: Test signals oscillated by a radio frequency or RF oscillator 221 are directly inputted into a data acquisition part 24 through a signal transmission part 222. Then, the test signals inputted into the data acquisition part 24 are outputted to an image reconstruction part 33 from the data acquisition part 24, and a test image is generated by performing image reconstruction.
