<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient strength while lightening a swash plate. <P>SOLUTION: This swash plate compressor 1 has a swash plate 5 connected with a drive shaft 3 relatively rotatably swung accompanied by the rotation of the drive shaft 3, and capable of adjusting a swinging angle, and a piston 9 connected with the swash plate 5 via connection members 7, 7 and axially driven by the swing of the swash plate 5.
