PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device and an information display method, capable of displaying information corresponding to various usage modes of an electronic device such as folding or unfolding of a sub-display device by movably connecting the sub-display device to the portable terminal device. SOLUTION: This portable terminal device includes a casing first portion including a display device, a casing second portion coupled to the casing first portion and including a key input device, and a sub-display device movably connected to at least any one of the casing first portion and the second portion. Further, the portable terminal device includes a control section for changing the information displayed on the sub-display device in accordance with the position of the sub-display device.
