MESSAGE INTERFACE CODE GENERATOR AND METHOD OF PRODUCING AN ASYNCHRONOUS MESSAGE INTERFACE CODE FOR AN AUDIO STREAMING SYSTEM

A message interface code generator and method of producing an asynchronous message interface code for an audio streaming system uses a text-based input that includes descriptions of asynchronous messages to be used in the audio streaming system to produce a representation of the asynchronous messages. The representation of the asynchronous messages is then processed to produce a header file and a source file with source code to construct and send the asynchronous messages and to extract message parameters from the asynchronous messages. The asynchronous message interface code is derived from the header file and the source file.
