<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely transfer data to a proximate terminal through operation using a touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: The invention is applied when transferring data between a first terminal T10 and a second terminal T11. As processing therefor, data of a fingerprint detected by touching a touch panel 18 that the first terminal T10 has, are held and data of a fingerprint detected by touching a touch panel 18 that the second terminal T11 has are transmitted to the first terminal T10. Then, the data of the fingerprint held in the first terminal 10 are collated with the data of the fingerprint transmitted thereto.
