PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control apparatus capable of securing spectrum reproducibility and visual reproducibility. SOLUTION: In a step S230, an ICM P3a1 executes processing for calculating an ink quantity setϕcapable of reproducing a spectrum reflection rate R(λ) equal to the target spectrum reflection rate R<SB>t</SB>(λ) indicated by spectrum reflection rate data RD. In calculating a root-means square error of a difference D(λ) between the target spectrum reflection rate R<SB>t</SB>(λ) indicated by the spectrum reflection rate data RD and an estimated spectrum reflection rate R<SB>s</SB>(λ) as an evaluation value E(ϕ), an ECM P3a3 multiplies a weight function w(λ) obtained by adding isochromatic functions x(λ), y(λ) and z(λ) for each of wavelengths.
