PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more convenient operation explanation display function. SOLUTION: When an operating button is operated for implementing an operation explanation display function, a television receiver 11 acquires television condition data of the television receiver 11 in step S4, and transmits the data to a content data server 13 in step S5. The content data server 13 transmits, to the television receiver 11, operation explanatory information acquired on the basis of the received television condition data in step S33. The television receiver 11 receives the operation explanatory information in step S6 and displays, on double screens, operation manuals based on the operation explanatory information together with video images of a program in step S7.
