The device (1) has a drying station with a nozzle head (10), which is insertable for blowing and/or sucking into a container (2). The container is moved to a transportation track formed between a container inlet (1.1) and a container outlet by a carrier (6). The nozzle head of the drying station is movable relative to the container arranged at the respective drying station. A relative motion between the nozzle head and the container takes place in a vertical direction, in a cam controlled manner via a controlled motor drive e.g. servo motor.
