PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain noises by improving vehicle mountability of a surge tank in an internal combustion engine having an intake control valve to perform inertia supercharging. SOLUTION: This intake control device of an internal combustion engine includes an intake passage 204 communicated with the inside of a cylinder 202, an intake control valve 224 capable of generating an intake pulse according to an opening/closing condition and adjusting an intake amount which is an amount of an intake air, and a phase inversion means 205 for inverting a phase of a pulse wave corresponding to the generated pulse. In this intake control device of the internal combustion engine, the phase inversion means 205 includes an outer tube 205a, and an inner tube 205b with the same cross section in a direction crossing with the intake passage as that of the intake passage, and (i) an upstream end of the outer pipe 205a is connected with the intake passage 204 and a downstream end is connected with the outside of the inner tube 205b, and (ii) an upstream end of the inner tube 205b is an open end inside the outer tube 205a and a downstream end is connected to the intake passage 204.
