A fuel feed system of an internal combustion engine is provided to locate a leakage under no pressure or without pressure increase whereby a leak detection screw is connected to a high pressure fuel line. A fuel feed system of an internal combustion engine comprises one or more leak detection screws(17) connected to each high pressure fuel line(19) which is in a high pressure state always or temporarily. A leak material produced in the high pressure fuel line and/or the connection area can be guided through the leak detection screw which interlocks with each high pressure fuel line, so that the leakage location is detected under no pressure or without pressure increase.
