<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent drug delivery system to a posterior segment of eyeball by subconjunctival administering. <P>SOLUTION: The drug delivery system to a posterior segment of eyeball by subconjunctivally administering a pharmaceutical composition comprising a drug and a vehicle, and forming a depot by the vehicle, and the drug is gradually released from the depot to enable an effective concentration of the drug to be maintained. The pharmaceutical composition comprises the vehicle gelling subconjunctivally, and the drug suspended in the vehicle.
