<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacturing by solving overhang of a lens face in enlarging a vertical viewing angle produced with an optical element of a conventional lens array mode. <P>SOLUTION: The optical element is formed by aligning a refractive lens face 4 and a lens unit 10 having a nonaxisymmetric total reflection lens face 5 with a focus F in the vicinity of the lens surface center of the refractive lens face, wherein in the alignment, a plurality of kinds of lens units with mutually different main light beam directions 32 of the diffusion pencil of light beams 7 are mixed with one another. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
