PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection apparatus which does not make the operation of an ejection head declined with a simple configuration without making the apparatus complicated and enlarged. SOLUTION: The liquid ejection apparatus includes a frame, the ejection head which can make a scanning to this frame and eject the liquid as a droplet, a main tank which receives this liquid and be attachable to and detachable from this frame, and a head tank which is fixed to this frame and connected to this ejection head through a second liquid feeding channel while being connected from the main tank through the first liquid feeding channel. This head tank includes a float valve which controls the liquid supplied from the first liquid feeding channel according to the height of internal liquid level. This float valve includes a float member which moves up and down according to the height of liquid level, and an auxiliary member which operates this valve by converting the moving up-and-down of this float member into the switching action of the valve and by enlarging the stress made by the buoyancy transferred from this float member.
