PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semimetallic adsorbing material which exhibits excellent capturing performance to a semimetal such as boron and can be produced at a low cost by a simple and safe method. SOLUTION: The semimetallic adsorbing material has an amino group and the group shown by general formula (1) (wherein G is a residual group obtained by removing a carboxyl group from aldonic acid or uronic acid) on a support.
