<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of miniaturizing and lightening weight, and its on-board structure. <P>SOLUTION: A cell stack 3 generating electric power by electrochemical reaction of fuel gas and oxidative gas is supported on insulating end plates 5, 7, and opening parts 11, 13 of a stack cover 10 which covers the cell stack 3 are blocked with the insulating end plates 5, 7.
