<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera device capable of sufficiently securing a visual field of the monitoring camera while preventing damage of the monitoring camera due to a collision with an obstacle or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A recessed part 7 is formed in a counterweight 6. Also, one end of a housing body 12 for the monitoring camera is attached to the recessed part 7 with a hinge 16, so that the monitor-camera housing body 12 can be rotated between a normal position where a light intake part 15 of the monitor-camera housing body 12 is projected and a storing position where the monitor-camera housing body 12 is stored in the recessed part 7. Furthermore, in a space between a base 13 and an end surface 7a, a gas-spring damper 30 is disposed. The gas-spring damper 30 combines functions of a bias means constantly applying a rotating force to the monitor-camera housing body 12 for rotating the housing body 12 to the normal position from the storing position and a damping means damping the rotating movement of the housing body 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
