<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine provided with a supercharger including a variable blade adjusting mechanism capable of providing the supercharging pressure of intake air with favorable responsiveness to desired supercharging pressure without receiving an influence of an individual difference and the deterioration with time of a turbocharger. <P>SOLUTION: A device controlling supercharging pressure by adjusting the blade opening of the turbine by controlling a variable blade adjusting mechanism provided on a turbine of a turbocharger is provided with a model of the supercharger for calculating the blade opening of the turbine by using a thermodynamics model and turbine characteristics of the turbocharger. The accuracy of the model is increased and controllability is improved by correcting efficiency used in the model with actual efficiency determined by measuring exhaust pressure (turbine inlet pressure) at a turbine inlet of the turbocharger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
