PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch structure of an automatic external defibrillator (AED) allowing an operator to easily turn on a main power supply of the AED, prohibiting the turn-off of the main power supply even if a mechanical switch is turned off while the AED is used because of wrong operation by the operator or other reasons, and permitting the turn-off of the main power switch only when the operator further operates the switch with a lid closed. SOLUTION: The switch structure of the automatic external defibrillator has a movable mechanism to turn on the main power supply switch when the lid is in the opened state by correlating the open/close state of the lid which covers the body of the automatic external defibrillator with the on/off of the main power supply switch, and to turn off the main power supply switch only when the operator further operates the switch without turning off the main power supply switch with only the transfer of the state of the lid to the closed state.
