<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with a decelerating mechanism for enhancing the operational reliability and durability by effectively radiating heat generated by a brush, a commutator and an armature coil in a motor body. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of radiating fins 51 are provided on the outside face of a gear case 31 which is fixed to the yoke 14 of the motor body 12 and accommodates the decelerating mechanism. Each of the radiating fins 51 includes a parallel portion 51a extending in parallel with an armature shaft from the brush accommodating portion 35 of the gear case 31 and an inclined part 51b continuing to the parallel portion 51a and extending in such a direction as to be inclined against the parallel portion 51a. Regardless of such a direction that the gear case 31 is disposed, natural convection is generated in either the parallel portion 51a or the inclined portion 51b of the radiation fin 51 due to heat radiation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
