A sterilization device for a drinking water storage tank is provided to semi-permanently sterilize drinking water stored in a drinking water storage tank by ultraviolet rays emitted from UV LEDs(Ultraviolet Light-Emitting Diodes), obtain an effect of reducing the possibility of environmental pollution, and sterilize drinking water at relatively low energy and cost. A sterilization device(10) for a drinking water storage tank comprises: a sterilizing unit(20) sterilizing drinking water stored in the drinking water storage tank(1) using ultraviolet rays emitted from UV LEDs(22); and a supporting protection unit(30) positioning and protecting the sterilizing unit within the drinking water storage tank. The sterilizing unit includes: one or more circuit boards(21) in which electric circuits are formed; and one or more UV LEDs formed on the circuit boards, connected to the electric circuits, and electrically driven to emit ultraviolet rays. The supporting protection unit includes: a fixing member(31) of which one side is supported to the circuit board, and of which the other side is fixed to an inner one side of the drinking water storage tank or a cover covering the drinking water storage tank; and a sealing transmission member(32) which seals the circuit board from drinking water and is formed on the fixing member to transmit ultraviolet rays emitted from the UV LEDs. |
