摘要 PURPOSE: A method for dephosphorizing molten steel is provided to substantially reduce consumption of subsidiary raw materials by removing some of phosphorus using high purity iron oxide in RH and suppress oxidation of molten steel by maintaining low concentration of oxygen in molten steel after blowing. CONSTITUTION: The method for dephosphorizing molten steel using high purity iron oxide in RH comprises a process of transferring high purity fine iron oxide that is a byproduct generated in a process of pickling hot rolled coil to RH of steelmaking plant through a tank lorry(10); a process of mixing the weighed iron oxide with quicklime powder in a proper mixing ratio after weighing the iron oxide through a dispenser(14) equipped with a balance; and a process of removing phosphorus that is an impurity in molten steel(40) by injecting a mixture of iron oxide and quicklime powder into vacuum tank(20) of the RH through a water cooling type lance(30), wherein 30 to 35 wt.% of iron oxide for the total weight is mixed with quicklime powder in the mixing process.
