PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crane device for controlling the movement of a traveling body with higher reliability and accuracy. SOLUTION: An image pickup device 3 moved together with a crane body 2 picks up images of a plurality of absolute position marks 6 which are formed along the moving passage of the crane body 2 for showing absolute positions as distances from a starting point, and relative position marks 7 which are formed at regular intervals along the moving passage of the crane body 2 in such a manner as to divide spaces between the adjacent absolute position marks 6 into a plurality of parts.
