The invention relates to a universally usable ans completable luminous element, comprising a cap-like outer housing (1) with a fixing thread (2), which is directed towards the open side, and hook-shaped or eyelet-shaped suspension means (9), wich can be fixed on the outside of the cap base, wherein a receptacle (4) for at least one luminous means (3), operating means, such as a ballast or a starting device, and connection terminals for the electrical contact-making are provided in the housing interior. According to the invention, the receptacle is in the form of a preassembled insert part, which has a spherical inner reflector (6), which terminates at the circumference and in terms of height with the cap-like outer housing and in whose centre the luminous means can be fixed. In the area substantially below the inner reflector, the operating means are arranged and the receeptable with the inner reflector is fixed in a force-fitting and/or form-fitting manner in the inside of the cap base. |
