A power generation system is provided to produce high energy by irradiating electromagnetic wave to an explosive or sudden-expansive material used as fuel. A power generation system comprises an explosive or expandable fuel, an injection device(2) which supplies and injects the fuel into a closed container, an electromagnetic scanning unit(1) irradiating electromagnetic wave to explode or expand the fuel, an exhaust device(3) which discharges the gas or residue which is produced after explosion the fuel, and an energy obtaining device(4) receiving the energy obtained by the explosion of the fuel.
