METHOD FOR RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY OF ANTERIOR ABDOMINAL WALL AFTER ITS RESECTION DUE TO CANCER

A method for the reconstructive surgery of the anterior abdominal wall after its resection due to cancer comprises the cuts of the skin, the dissection of the area of the anterior abdominal wall at the site of tumor lesion, and the reconstructive step of the surgery. Two arched cuts are performed horizontally above and beneath the site of tumor ingrowth in the anterior abdominal wall to aponeurosis from left and right anterior axillary line. The anterior abdominal wall is resected as one unit with the tumor within the margins of the intact tissues followed by layer-by-layer suturing of the laparotomic wound.
