The rear-view mirror (R) has a shell (C) for housing a mirror (M), and a retractable rod (T) projected in downstream of the mirror on a distance selected in a selected place located at a level of a side surface (FL) of the shell and in an extension of the shell. The rod guides water drops (GE) streaming on the shell in the downstream of the mirror for moving away the water drops from the mirror. The rod is arranged for being retracted or projected by rotation and translation, and the shell is housed in an engine (E) arranged for retracting or projecting the rod based on received information.
