<p>An electro-optical device, a manufacturing method thereof and an electronic device are provided to make the electronic device small and light. An electro-optical panel(12) comprises the first substrate(52) of light-transmittance. A touch panel(16) comprises the second substrate(56) of light-transmittance. A barrier layer(30) having light-shielding characteristic is formed at a surface of the first substrate side on the second substrate. Detection electrodes(60,62) having light-transmittance are formed at one side of the second substrate which is separated from the first substrate. According to the change of electrostatic capacity, the detection electrodes detect the contact. The first and second substrates are adhered as having the barrier layer between them.</p> |
