COMMUNICATION TEST APPARATUS FOR TRAIN CONTROL AND MONITORING SYSTEM BY USING NOTEBOOK COMPUTER

A TCMS(Train Control And Monitoring System) communication test device using a notebook computer is provided to test RS(Recommended Standard)-485 communication of a TCMS at a desired location by installing a TCMS RS-485 communication test program in a PCMCIA(Personal Computer Memory Card International Association) card of the notebook computer. A PCMCIA slot(12) is installed in a notebook computer. A PCMCIA card(16) is inserted into the PCMCIA slot. The PCMCIA card includes a program for testing TCMS communication. A PCMCIA connector(14) is installed at the inner side of the PCMCIA slot. The PCMCIA connector connects the PCMCIA card inserted into the PCMCIA slot to a bus of the notebook computer.
