A speckle suppressing system is provided to enhance a speckle suppressing function by forming interference beams having various degrees of intensity various optical lengths. A speckle suppressing system includes a first polarizing beam splitter(1'), a second polarizing beam splitter(12), and a first polarizing beam converter(2'). The first polarizing beam splitter is arranged on an optical path which is formed by a plurality of optical members. The second polarizing beam splitter is arranged on an intersecting position between the transmitting beam and the reflecting beam of the first polarizing beam splitter in order to branch an incident beam to an optical member. The first polarizing beam converter is arranged between the first and second polarizing beam splitters in order to obtain two polarizing components by changing the polarized beam of the incident beam.
