AEROGEL SHEET AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THEREOF

An aerogel sheet is provided to solidly adhere upper and lower non-woven fabric layers even without using a separate binder, prevent deformation of the aerogel sheet due to damages of aerogel while using the aerogel sheet, and obtain excellent thermal insulation properties, and a method for manufacturing the same is provided. An aerogel sheet(10) comprises a needle punched non-woven fabric(11), and aerogel particles filled in the needle punched non-woven fabric. The aerogel particles include aerogel beads(12) and/or aerogel powder. A method for manufacturing an aerogel sheet comprises the steps of: scattering aerogel particles on a needle punched non-woven fabric web; preliminarily needle punching the aerogel particle-scattered non-woven fabric web; principally needle punching the preliminarily needle punched web; and heat-treating the surface of the principally needle punched web to laminate the principally needle punched web.
