<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate grasping of the response state of a mode S apparatus, which has been difficult to monitor by conventional monitoring methods. <P>SOLUTION: In this mode S secondary monitoring radar 1, an all-call period and a roll-call period are set to acquire an aircraft. The radar 1 is provided with a transmitting means 122 for transmitting a roll-call interrogation in the all-call period, a receiving means 123 for receiving a roll-call response corresponding to the roll-call interrogation, and a deciphering means 132 for deciphering the roll-call response received, at a timing set in the all-call period beforehand. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
