<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can efficiently use a memory by analyzing a use state of a substantial language for printing. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes a use state calculating means 100 which collects statistics of the use state of an analyzed printing job and calculates a use frequency and an execution interval of a language interpretation program on the basis of the statistical result, and a residence switching means 400 which makes a language interpretation program of the calculated highest use frequency stay resident in the memory 16 first and makes a language interpretation program of the calculated high use frequency and long execution interval stay resident in the memory 16 next to the above resident language interpretation program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
