<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the relation between the performance and lifetime of an electric apparatus for each usage mode. <P>SOLUTION: When the usage expiry date of a DC apparatus 102 is set, an indicator 117 transmits the usage expiry date of the DC apparatus 102 as usage expiry date information to a DC power feeding section 101. Upon receiving the usage expiry date information from the indicator 117, the DC power feeding section 101 uses correspondence relation to extract a drive voltage corresponding to the lifetime equivalent to the usage time until the usage limit, and sets a permissible range of the drive voltage in which the extracted drive voltage is a threshold value. After that, the DC power feeding section 101 transmits voltage conversion information for voltage conversion so that the drive voltage actually supplied to an operation section 32 of the DC apparatus 102 may be within a permissible range to the DC apparatus 102.
