PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently suppress the generation frequency of errors during playback. SOLUTION: The recording/playback device records data in a disk recording medium having wobbles, and plays back data recorded in the disk recording medium. When the writing operation of the data is stopped during data writing in the disk recording medium, a condition for resuming the data writing is set milder as compared with that before the data writing operation is stopped.
