PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for counting excretion frequency for pet in which a user discovers pet diseases such as diabetes, cystitis etc., having an increase in excretion frequency of pet as an early symptom in early stages. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for counting excretion frequency for pet includes a pet toilet 2, an existence detection part 3 that is arranged in the pet toilet 2 or in the circumference thereof, detects the existence of a pet P1 and outputs detection data, and a count part that receives the existence detection data outputted from the existence detection part 3 and counts the excretion frequency of the pet P1. Since when the pet P1 comes in and out from the pet toilet 2 for excretion, the existence of the pet P1 is detected by the existence detection part 3 and the excretion frequency of the pet P1 is counted by the count part based on the existence detection data, the excretion frequency of the pet P1 is counted. Accordingly, a user can discover the diseases of the pet P1 having an increase in excretion frequency as an early symptom in early stages based on the counted excretion frequency of the pet P1.
