PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion device for a bridge, which dispenses with execution of a step of welding an anchor to a plate body, to thereby achieve simplified and inexpensive production thereof. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the expansion device, a pair of plate main bodies 20, 20 are opposed to each other in a manner forming an expansion gap 11 therebetween. Each of the plate main bodies 20, 20 are divided into a plurality of plate members 21, and anchor members 22, 23 which each extend in a direction opposite to the expansion gap 11, are attached to both edges of each plate member 21. Herein the plate member 21 and the anchor members 22, 23 are formed in one piece of a common material (e.g. a steel plate) by bending the material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
