<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that has a high-power cable shorter than conventional cables and that is wired simply. <P>SOLUTION: A color printer 1 includes: a main body housing 10 including photosensitive drums 53 and having an opening 10A; an upper cover 11 which is configured to open and cover the opening 10A; LED heads 41 which are provided on the upper cover 11 and which are opposed to the photosensitive drums 53 when the upper cover 11 covers the opening; a main substrate 100 provided in the main body housing 10; an LED control substrate 110 which is provided to the upper cover 11 and controls light emission of the respective LED heads 41; four flat cables 130, which electrically connect the LED heads 41 to the LED control substrate 110, respectively, each of the flat cables 130 including a plurality of conductors; and a flat cable 140, which electrically connects the LED control substrate 110 to the main substrate 100 and which includes conductors, the number of which is smaller than a total number of the conductors included in the four flat cables 130. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
