<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimping sleeve for branching an electric wire, which can be used for easily and efficiently connecting a branch line to a trunk line by an indirect live-wire operation while the trunk line is in a state of charge. <P>SOLUTION: The crimping sleeve for branching an electric wire comprises: a body which includes an exposed conductor portion prepared in an overhead distribution line stretchingly prepared and a conductor hold portion which can hold respectively in parallel an exposed conductor portion at the front edge of a branch line; and a handle part which is extended from one end face orthogonal to the axial direction of the conductor hold portion of the conductor directly or through a support and in which holding is possible with an indirect live-wire holding tool. The handle part desirably includes a portion which flexes or curves in the direction which separates from the axis of the exposed conductor portion in the overhead distribution line held in the conductor hold portion. Moreover, the support is fitted in the conductor hold portion from one end face of the body to thereby fixingly support the handle part at the body, and further desirably has a structure fixable at the front edge of the exposed conductor portion of the branch line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
