REFRIGERATION CYCLE DEVICE AND FOUR-WAY VALVE

Disclosed is a refrigeration cycle device which is compact in size and is simply controlled. These are achieved by reducing the number of drive devices for driving switching means for switching between the directions of flow of fluid. Also disclosed is a four-way valve which does not require a drive device. The refrigeration cycle device has a main route formed by interconnecting by using piping a compressor (23), a first heat exchanger (25), a pressure reduction route (22), and a second heat exchanger (26); a main four-way valve (24) for switching, by moving the position of a valve element, between internal flow paths to change the direction of flow of fluid flowing in the main route; and a dependent four-way valve (1) for switching, by moving the position of a valve element, between internal flow paths to locally change the flow direction changed by the main four-way valve (24). The valve element of the main four-way valve (24) is driven by electric power, and the valve element of the dependent four-way valve (1) is driven by a pressure change produced in the main route by switching between the flow directions by the main four-way valve (24).
