<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proxy server for replicating registration information among a plurality of SIP servers after indicating an access person and the validity of a REGISTER request to the SIP servers requesting SIP Digest authentication. <P>SOLUTION: The proxy server provided between a user agent and the SIP server has a function of generating the REGISTER request in addition to a function held by a general SIP proxy server, thus generating the REGISTER request for a spare SIP server for transmitting to the spare SIP server, and hence replicating the registration information and holding the user identifier and password of the proxy server to perform Digest authentication with the spare SIP server. Further, the proxy server confirms a REGISTER request processing completion response (200 OK) from a current SIP server, namely the replication source of the registration information, and then transmits the replicated REGISTER request to the spare SIP server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
