PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a cooler which efficiently cools a board holder panel and the display element without using a cooling fan and minimizes variations of temperatures of the panel and the display panel in a thin TV comprising the TV display element and a plurality of control boards including a microcomputer substrate having a microcomputer for controllably driving the TV display element and also comprising the board holder panel for supporting the control boards. SOLUTION: In the cooler for the thin TV, a coolant circulation passage having a heat receiving area to be thermally contacted with at least a microcomputer substrate in a control board is provided in a board holder panel, and a coolant is circulated by a pump through the circulation passage.
