PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water tank system in which the number of arrangements of valves provided as an emergency shutdown valve is reduced. SOLUTION: The water tank system according is equipped with a water tank 18 formed with water storage chambers 14, 16 and a three-way valve 20 which is partially fixed in the water storage chamber 14 and partially arranged outside the water tank 18. The three-way valve 20 is equipped with a first inflow pipe 44 which communicates with the inside of the water storage chamber 14, a second inflow pipe 46 which communicates with the inside of a water storage chamber 16, and a water intake pipe 34 coupled to an external wall 32 of the three-way valve 20 arranged outside the water tank 18. The external wall 32 forms a valve housing zone Z1 which communicates with the first inflow pipe 44, the second inflow pipe 46 and the water intake pipe 34. Further, the three-way valve 20 includes a valve body 38 arranged in the valve housing zone Z1 so as to be turnable, and a turning shaft 40 which is arranged outside the water tank 18 and in which a turning force is input to the valve body 38.
