<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption to a clock supply area of fine granule, by means of a processing control unit and a clock control signal generation unit of simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor integrated circuit device includes a plurality of arithmetic units 4 of pipeline connection, a processing control unit 2 for generating and outputting a processing control signal when a data notification signal is input, and a clock control signal generation unit 3 for generating and outputting the clock control signal when the processing control signal is input. An arithmetic unit 4 includes: a clock gating circuit 5 for generating and outputting a gated clock signal to operate the arithmetic unit, based on the clock control signal when the clock control signal is input; an arithmetic block 6 operating in synchronization with the gated clock signal, for performing data processing indicated by the processing control signal when the data and the processing control signal are input, and for outputting the data after the processing and the processing control signal to an arithmetic unit 4 connected in the succeeding stage; and a delay circuit 7 for delaying the clock control signal for the processing time in the arithmetic block 6, so as to be synchronized with the data after the processing and the processing control signal, and for outputting it to the arithmetic unit 4 connected in the succeeding stage, when the clock control signal is input. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
