PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device capable of reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: This solid-state imaging device 100 includes: a plurality of pixels 108, arranged in a matrix-like shape, each of which converts light into a signal voltage 131; a plurality of column signal lines each of which is provided for corresponding one of columns of the plurality of pixels 108, so that the signal voltage is output by the pixels 108 thereto; and a plurality of AD converting circuits 120 each of which is provided for the corresponding one of the plurality of column signal lines, and configured to convert the signal voltage 131 into a digital signal, wherein each AD converting circuit 120 includes: a comparator 109 generating an output signal 132 indicating a greater voltage out of the signal voltage 131 and a reference voltage RAMP; and a counter 111 counting a time until logic of the output signal 132 is inverted, and the solid-state imaging device 100 further includes a power-down control part 110 suspending power supply to the plurality of comparators 109 after the logic of the plurality of output signals 132 is inverted.
